Create your own text variables and use them in any skin

Our skins offer a multitude of text fields so you have the freedom to publish as much content as you need, but no matter how many fields we add, there will always be a design that will require an extra field.

Today we are thrilled to announce the launch of a new feature that will elevate your website customization experience, the Static Text Editor. A dynamic tool that allows you to create multi-language text variables and use them throughout your website.

But what exactly are static texts?

With ‘static texts’ we refer to those elements of the web that aren't directly accessible from any conventional web panel.
These could be the labels of buttons, text within layers, the newsletter or the critical information residing in headers and footers. Traditionally, these elements were often challenging to modify as they weren't part of a defined block.

With this new feature, you now have the power to seamlessly create and edit these static texts in all languages in which the web page is available.

Key features and capabilities

-Text editing across the board:

The Static Texts Section empowers you to edit and customize text elements that were previously out of reach. Whether it's the label on a booking button or crucial information in the header and footer, you now have the freedom to make changes effortlessly.

-Multilingual capabilities:

The Static Text Section enables users to translate modified text into all the languages available on their web page. This ensures a consistent and user-friendly experience for visitors from around the world.

-Possibility to add extra fields in a skin:

Enhance the content of your skins by adding extra text fields created in the Static Text Editor. One of the most significant benefits of adding static elements to your webpage is the ability to create tailored content and better customize the skins that make up the page.

How to create and modify static texts

Begin by accessing the Static Text Section in the settings menu. This dedicated space is where the magic happens, providing a centralized hub for managing all your static texts.
You can create new static texts by typing the name of the descriptive key and then the content.

Choose the language in which you want to create the new static element and then translate it in all languages of your site, ensuring that your customization efforts extend to a global audience.

How to add static text to a skin with the Front End Editor

You can add new fields to a skin if the fields available for entering content are not enough.
Use the Front End Editor to access to the HTML code of the skin and add the static text with this structure:

{ {global.static-texts.custom.yourkey} }
