They silently investigate visitors' online experiences and assist  businesses in better understanding their audiences. To comply with privacy laws, every website currently needs a Cookie Consent Manager, typically an external tool with an additional cost. To simplify the management of cookie consent on your customers' websites without the need for an additional tool,  we have developed our own cookie consent management tool at Banana, integrated into the same platform. ### What Is a Cookie? Cookies are text files generated by websites to store pertinent information about each visit, thereby enhancing the online experience. They play a crucial role in maintaining user sessions, preserving site preferences, and delivering localized content to enrich the overall user journey. There are different types of cookies: Essential  These cookies are necessary to enable the basic functionality of the website.  Customization  These cookies allow us to recall relevant information to distinguish between users and provide them with a personalized experience.  Analytical  These cookies enable us to monitor and analyze how users interact with our website.  Marketing  These cookies are used to deliver targeted and personalized advertising based on the user's profile.   ### Why do I need a Cookie Consent Manager on my website? A cookie Cookie Consent Manager allows you to display a Cookie Notice on your websites to ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations. Having a comprehensive and clear cookie notice is essential for complying with data protection regulations such as GDPR, CCPA and others. Displaying a pop-up consent banner is the most effective way to collect users’ consent on websites. This banner should enable users to adjust their cookie preferences.
