# New integration:  Mailchimp

by [Valeria Nidoli](https://blog.banana.tech/author/vnidoli) | Dec 12, 2023

Keeping in touch with your potential customers in an easy and powerful way is no longer a challenge.

We are delighted to announce the seamless integration of Banana.tech and Mailchimp, a leading and well known email marketing platform.

If you’re using mailchimp to send your newsletters, you no longer need to download the list of users who signed up through the property's website every month. With this integration, new subscribers will be stored directly in the selected Mailchimp list.

### What is Mailchimp?

Mailchimp is a cloud-based email management and marketing service that allows individuals and businesses to create, send, and manage email campaigns. It's widely used for its user-friendly interface and a variety of features designed to help users engage with their audience through email.

How the integration works

Activating  the mailchimp integration is really easy, you only need the API Key and the Audience ID.
You can generate the API Key in the API Key section of your profile.

Each Mailchimp audience has a unique audience ID (sometimes called a list ID) and you can find this information in the Audience section of your profile.
